Given that


f(x)=2^x

Horizontal shift 4 spaces right will give the equation


g(x)=f(x-4)=2^(x-4)

Vertically shifting 5 spaces up will give


\begin{gathered} h(x)=g(x)+5 \\ h(x)=2^(x-4)+5 \end{gathered}

Hence h(x) is the new function.
