-9x 27

to solve the previous inequality, divide by -9 both sides, and consider that when you divide or multiply by a negative quantity the sense of the inequality changes, then, you have:

-9x/(-9) 27/(-9)

x ≥ -3

The graph is:

For the following inequality:

x - 5 > -3

you obtain:

x - 5 > -3 add 5 both sides

x > -3 + 5

x > 2

The graph is

the open parenthesis means that x=2 is not a solution of the inequality, only numbers greater then x=2.
