According to the trigonometrics they are defined as


\sin \theta=(op)/(hyp);\cos \theta=(ad)/(hyp);\tan \theta=(op)/(ad)

identify the opposite side, the adjacent side and the hypotenesu according to the angle Y

Replace the sides to find the trigonometrics


\begin{gathered} \sin Y=(4)/(5) \\ \cos Y=(3)/(5) \\ \tan Y=(4)/(3) \end{gathered}
