Use the following formula for the calculation of the area:

A = w·l

where:

w: width = 3/10 m

l: length = 3/5 m

replace the previous values of the parameters into the formula for A:

A = (3/10 m)(3/5 m)

A = 9/50 m²

A = 0.18 m²

Hence, the area of the given rectangle is 0.18 m²
