Answer:

Use the distributive property to write each expression as an equivalent algebraic expression:-

a.) 4(x + 5) = 4x + (4 x 5 ).

= 4x + 20 .

b.) 3(2x - 4) = 3 x 2x = 6x - (3 x -4 )

= 6x - 12 .

C.) -2(x - 6) = -2x - ( -2 x -6 ) .

= -2x - 12 .
