We need to simplify the next given expression:

7m+(5)/(12)+8z+(4)/(12)+8m-3z

We need to solve the like terms, "like terms" are terms whose variables and exponents are the same

Therefore, the like terms are:

7m and 8m

8z and -3z

5/12 and 4/12

Organize the expression:

7m+8m+(5)/(12)+(4)/(12)+8x-3z

Solving the like terms:

15m+(9)/(12)+5z

Finally, we can simplify the fraction 9/12 by 3/4 because 3*3 = 9 and

3*4 = 12

Then:

15m+(3)/(4)+5z
