22

Step-by-step explanation

-2+\sqrt[]{3x-2}=6

Step 1

a)add 2 in both sides

\begin{gathered} -2+\sqrt[]{3x-2}=6 \\ -2+\sqrt[]{3x-2}+2=6+2 \\ \sqrt[]{3x-2}=8 \end{gathered}

b) both sides to the 2 power

\begin{gathered} \sqrt[]{3x-2}=8 \\ (\sqrt[]{3x-2}^2=8^2 \\ 3x-2=64 \end{gathered}

c) again, add 2 in both sides.

\begin{gathered} 3x-2=64 \\ 3x-2+2=64+2 \\ 3x=66 \end{gathered}

d) finally, divide both sides by 3

\begin{gathered} 3x=66 \\ (3x)/(3)=(66)/(3) \\ x=22 \end{gathered}

I hope this helps you
