we know that

total outcomes=8

step 1

Find out the probability of rolling an odd number

total odd numbers =4 (1,3,5,7)

the probability is

P=4/8

P=1/2

step 2

Find out the probability of rolling an even prime number

Remember that

The number 2 is the only even prime

so

total outcomes=8

even prime numbers=1 (only number 2)

P=1/8

step 3

The probability of rolling an odd number followed by an even prime number is equal to

P=(1/2)(1/8)

P=1/16
