L=50\ ft

Distance between Peyton and the tree is
x=25\ ft

Using the figure, apply Pythagoras theorem


\Rightarrow L^2=h^2+x^2\\\Rightarrow h^2=50^2-25^2\\\Rightarrow h=√(2500-625)=43.30\ ft

The kite is flying 43.30 ft above the ground
