$p \geqslant - 1$

Explanation:

$(2)/(3) - (p)/(2) \leqslant (8)/(3)$

$( - p)/(2) \leqslant (8)/(3) - (2)/(3)$

$( - p)/(2) \leqslant (6)/(3)$

$( - p)/(2) \leqslant 2$

Dividing both sides by 2

$- p \leqslant 1$

Multiply through by - 1 to remove the negative sign from p

$p \geqslant - 1$
