3/4 + 1/7

To add the fractions we have to find the LCD of the denominators:

Multiples:

4 = 4,8,12,16,20,24,28

7=7,14,21,28

LCD =28

So, we have to multiply the first fraction by 7/7 and the second by (4/4), and then add the top numbers.

((3)/(4)*(7)/(7))+((1)/(7)*(4)/(4))=(21)/(28)+(4)/(28)=(25)/(28)

Simplified = 25/28
