Given:

A 6 sided die is rolled.

S=\mleft\lbrace1,2,3,4,5,6\mright\rbrace
n(s)=6

Let A be the event of getting a number less than 6.

n(A)=5
P(A)=(n(A))/(n(S))
P(A)=(5)/(6)
P(A)=0.833

Therefore, probability of getting a number less than 6 is 0.833
