For question b, the Function #4 has the least steep. The value of slope, -1, is the lowest value of the rest of the functions making the graph of which less steep than the rest.

Answer:

a) function 1

b) function 4

Explanation:

function 1 has a y-int of 4

function 2 has a y-int of 1

function 3 has a y-int of -5

function 4 has a y-int of -2

A least steep graph will have the smallest slope (disregarding negatives)

1: m= 4

2: m= -4

3: m= 2

4: m= -1
