What happens to a string of light bulbs connected in series if one bulb goes out?

In series, all bulbs should have to work properly for maintaining the flow of current through the series.

If one bulb goes out, then the circuit will behave as an open circuit and no current will flow through the series.

Thus, if one bulb goes out in series then the circuit will break and no bulb will glow.
