The Corresponding Angles Theorem states: If two parallel lines are cut by a transversal, then the pairs of corresponding angles are congruent.

\begin{gathered} \angle1\text{ corresponds to }\angle4 \\ \text{it follows that } \\ \angle1\cong\angle4 \\ m\angle1=m\angle4 \\ m\angle1=46.2\degree \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} \angle3\text{ corresponds to }\angle2 \\ \text{it follows that} \\ \angle3\cong\angle2 \\ m\angle3\cong m\angle2 \\ m\angle3=133.8\degree \end{gathered}
