A line written in slope-intercept form is given by

y=mx+b

Where m represents the slope and b the y-intercept.

Rewritting our equation, we have

\begin{gathered} -6x+3y=5 \\ 3y=6x+5 \\ y=(6)/(3)x+(5)/(3) \\ y=2x+(5)/(3) \end{gathered}

Comparing to the slope-intercept form, we know that the slope of this line is the coefficient of x, in this case, 2.

m=2
