Given: The image shown where BA is a perpendicular bisector of DC

To Determine: The value of length BC

Solution

Please note BA divides line DC into two equal parts because its a perpendicular bisector

If the point of intersection of BA and DC is O, then triangle BOD and AOC form a right triangle

Using pythagora theorem
