If Mr. Marsh can spend $75 on one-sixth, it menas that $75 is equal to 1/6 of the advisory.

75\Rightarrow(1)/(6)

if we want to know the whole, it can be represented as a 1.

\begin{gathered} 75\Rightarrow(1)/(6) \\ x\Rightarrow1 \end{gathered}

solve the relationship

\begin{gathered} x=(1\cdot75)/((1)/(6)) \\ x=(1\cdot75)\cdot6 \\ x=450 \end{gathered}

According to this Mr. Marsh can spend $450 on the whole advisory.
