The simplest form of writing this function is to write it as a fraction.

Given x^-12, this is a inverse function.

According to one of the law of indices, a^-b = 1/a^b

Applying this to the given expression;

x^-12 = 1/x^12

Hence the simplest form of the expression x^-12is 1/x^12
