1) Comparing those numbers, we can state that 11 is greater than -7 since any positive number is greater than any negative number. Also on the number line

11 is to the right of zero.

As we can see the distance from zero is greater to 11 than from -7 to 0

2) So we can write out

3) Hence, 11 > -7
