We will solve as follows:

-3<2x+7<13=-10<2x<6[tex]=-5We solve as if it were a simple function, in our case these are the steps to follow:

*We subtract 7 from all expressions.

*We then divide by 2 all expressions.

*Now, we have solved for x, and therefore for each side of the inequality.

The main objective is to "leave" x alone, and the other sides of the inequation will be the answer.
