Consider that the standard square function has the vertex of the parabolic curve at the origin (0,0).

The parent function is given as,


f(x)=x^2

And the transformed function is given as,


f(x)=(x-h)^2+k

Consider that the horizontal shift of a function is governed by the transformation,


f(x)\rightarrow f(x-h)

For some positive values of 'h', the shift will be towards right, and vice versa.

Now, from the graph it can be observed that the function has shifted right by 4 units,

So the corresponding transformation of the function will be,


f(x)\rightarrow f(x-4)

Therefore, the value of 'h' is 4.
