The expression which represents the volume is 15g

Using the parameters given ;

  • wading pool volume = g

A pool which holds 5 times as much would have its volume expressed as ;

  • Volume of wading pool.× 15

Now we have ;

Volume = 15g

Hence, the expression which represents the volume is 15g

The amount of water hold by wading pool is g gallons and swimming pool hold 15 times as much water in the wading pool. So water hold by swimming pool is 15g gallons.

Determine the total number of gallons of water in both the pool.

15g+g=16g

So answer is 16g. Correct option is B part.
