Solve the equation below;


81^x=27^(x+2)

Step 1: Apply exponent rules


\begin{gathered} 81^x=27^(x+2) \\ 3^(4x)=3^(3\left(x+2\right)) \end{gathered}

Step 2: solve for the value of x


\begin{gathered} 3^(4x)=3^(3\left(x+2\right)) \\ 4x=3\left(x+2\right) \\ 4x=3x+6 \\ 4x-3x=6 \\ x=6 \end{gathered}

Therefore the value of x = 6
