Given:

The number of pedestrian intoxicated and driver is not intoxicated is 250.

The number of pedestrian intoxicated and driver is intoxicated is 58.

Total number of people is 58+85+250+597=990

The probability that the pedestrian was intoxicated is,

P=(58+250)/(990)=(308)/(990)=0.3111

Answer: probability is 0.3111
