We have the following equation:

2x^2 + 5x -7 = 0

Let's find the roots, using the Quadratic Formula, this way:

-(5 +/- √(5² - 4 * 2 * -7))/2 * 2

(-5 +/- √25 + 56)/4

(-5 +/- √81 )/4

-5 +/- 9/4

First Root = -14/4 = -3.5

Second Root = 4/4 = 1

Now, we can conclude that we have:

Two real, rational roots
