Given figure shows different angles named from 1 to 8.

Linear pair of angles:

The two adjacent angles that add upto 180 degrees or which when combined together form a straight line.

Hence, the linear pai of angles are:

\begin{gathered} \angle1\text{ and }\angle2 \\ \angle1\text{ and }\angle4 \\ \angle2\text{ and }\angle3 \\ \angle4\text{ and }\angle3 \\ \angle5\text{ and }\angle6 \\ \angle5\text{ and }\angle8 \\ \angle8\text{ and }\angle7 \\ \angle6\text{ and }\angle7 \end{gathered}

Supplementary angles:

The angles that add upto 180 degrees.

Hence, all the above linear pair of angles are supplementary also.

Vertical angles:

Vertical angles are the angles that are opposite to each other when two lines meet each other at a point.

\begin{gathered} \angle1\text{ and }\angle3 \\ \angle4\text{ and }\angle2 \\ \angle5\text{ and }\angle7 \\ \angle8\text{ and }\angle6 \end{gathered}
