Solution

We are required to find the slope of the line between two given points.

\begin{gathered} (0,6),(6,9) \\ x_1=0 \\ y_1=6 \\ x_2=6 \\ y_2=9 \end{gathered}

The slope formula is given as ;

(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

Substitute the given values into the slope formula

\begin{gathered} (9-6)/(6-0) \\ \\ (3)/(6) \\ \\ (1)/(2) \\ \\ 0.5 \end{gathered}

m = slope

Hence the slope , m=0.5
