The given expression is

4m^2n - 8m

The factors of 4m^2n are 2 x 2 x m x m x n

The factors of 8m are 2 x 2 x 2 x m

Looking at both factors, the common ones are 2 x 2 x m = 4m

Factorising 4m, we have

4m(mn - 2)
