We have the following expression:

n+(5)/(5)=f+(9)/(9)

Since 5/5 and 9/9 are equal to 1, we get:

n+1=f+1

Subtracting 1 on both sides:

\begin{gathered} n+1-1=f+1-1 \\ n=f \end{gathered}

dividing by 5 on both sides:

(n)/(5)=(f)/(5)

It means that n/5 = f/5
