we have the following:

$\begin{gathered} y=3x^2-6x-10 \\ \end{gathered}$

complete square

$\begin{gathered} y=3x^2-6x-10 \\ y=3(x-1)^2-13 \\ (y+13)=3\cdot(x-1)^2 \end{gathered}$

vertex form:

$(y+13)=3\cdot(x-1)^2$
