Given:

Let x,y and z represents number of call received on first evening , second evening and third evening.

\begin{gathered} x+y+z=91\ldots\text{ (1)} \\ z=2x\ldots\text{ (2)} \\ y=x-5\ldots\text{ (3)} \end{gathered}

Substitute equation (2) and (3) in equation(1)

\begin{gathered} x+x-5+2x=91 \\ 4x=91+5 \\ 4x=96 \\ x=(96)/(4) \\ x=24 \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} y=x-5 \\ y=24-5 \\ y=19 \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} z=2(24) \\ z=48 \end{gathered}

Number of phone calls the first evening :24

Number of phone calls the second evening :19

Number of phone calls the third evening :48
