A squirrel is able to stash 200 acorns into a tree that is 1 foot wide, 1 foot long, and 3 feet tall. A yearlater, the tree is now grown to 2 feet wide, 2 feet long, and 6 feet tall. How many acorns should thesquirrel be able to store this vear?

200 acorns

width = 1 ft

lenght = 1 ft

Height = 3 ft

Volume = lenght x width x height = 1x1x3 = 3 ft^3

New volume = 2x2x6 = 24 ft^3

24/3 = 8 times

200 x 8 = 1600 acorns
