\begin{gathered} \text{The equation is,} \\ 7x-4y=8 \\ Multiply\text{ by 3 in the above equation.} \\ 21x-12y=24\ldots..(1) \\ Now\Rightarrow-2x+3y=7 \\ Multiply\text{ by 4 in the above equatiuon} \\ -8x+12y=28 \\ 12y=8x+28\ldots(2) \\ \text{Substitute the value of equation (2) in the equation (1)} \\ 21x-(8x+28)=24 \\ 21x-8x-28=24 \\ 13x=52 \\ x=4 \\ \text{now, substitute the value of x=4 in equation (2)} \\ 12y=8*4+28 \\ y=(60)/(12) \\ y=5 \\ \text{The solution is (4,5)} \end{gathered}
