Given the following question:

45 divided by 2 = 22.5

Since person 1 can write procesdures 2 times faster than person 2 and it usually takes 45 minutes to create one procedure.

We also know it took 2 hours for 2 of person ones procedures

2 + 2 = 4 so we know it isn't option B

Most of the procedures took 45 minutes each but two of them took 2 hours

So we are already up to 2 hours with two procedures

9 - 2 = 7

We are trying to find how much time it takes to complete 9 procedures

7 times 45 (since most procedures took 45 minutes) = 315

60 minutes equals a hour

315 divided by 60 = 5.25

2 + 2 = 4 + 5 = 9

.25 of a hour is 15 minutes

9 hours and 15 minutes your answer is option A
