The probability of two events taking place one after another is the same as the product of the individual probabilities of those events.

The probability of the coin landing tails is:

(1)/(2)

The probability of the spinner landing on red, is:

(1)/(3)

Then, the probability of the coin landing tails AND the spinner landing red, is:

(1)/(2)*(1)/(3)=(1)/(6)

Therefore, the answer is:

(1)/(6)
