The midpoint of a line segment whose endpoints are (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) is

M=((x1+x2)/(2),(y1+y2)/(2))

Since S = (2, 9) and T = (10, 3), then

x1 = 2 and x2 = 10

y1 = 9 and y2 = 3

Substitute them in the rule above

\begin{gathered} M=((2+10)/(2),(9+3)/(2)) \\ M=((12)/(2),(12)/(2)) \\ M=(6,6) \end{gathered}

The midpoint of ST is

M = (6, 6)
