We have the following:

2x-y=5

now, in the slope and intercept form of the equation the line is the following

y=mx+b

where m is the slope, that is, we have to solve for and, therefore we solve for and in the line (a) and we are left

\begin{gathered} 2x-y=5 \\ (-1)\cdot(-y)=(-2x+5)\cdot(-1) \\ y=2x-5 \\ m=2 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the slope is 2
