5x - 4y = 12

Isolating y

\begin{gathered} 5x=12+4y \\ 5x-12=4y \\ (5x-12)/(4)=y \\ y=(5)/(4)x-(12)/(4) \\ y=(5)/(4)x-3 \end{gathered}

In this equation, the slope is 5/4 and the y-intercept is -3.

From the answer choices, y = 2x - 3 has the same y-intercept.
