Let's use the distance formula:


\begin{gathered} d=\sqrt[]{(x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2} \\ d=\sqrt[]{(3-0)^2+(1-0)^2} \\ d=\sqrt[]{9+1} \\ d=\sqrt[]{10} \end{gathered}

Therefore the side length is:


s=\sqrt[]{10}

The area is given by:


A=s^2=(\sqrt[]{10})^2=10

And the perimeter is the sum of all sides, so:


P=\sqrt[]{10}+\sqrt[]{10}+\sqrt[]{10}+\sqrt[]{10}=4\sqrt[]{10}
