1) Since this is an equilateral triangle we can find its area by using this unique formula:


\begin{gathered} S=\frac{l^2\sqrt[]{3}}{4} \\ S=\frac{8^2\sqrt[]{3}}{4} \\ S=\frac{64\sqrt[]{3}}{4} \\ S=16\sqrt[]{3} \end{gathered}

2) So the area of that triangle is 16√3 in²
