The ratio of shadow to the height is constant for flagpole and woman.

The ratio of flagpole shadow and flagpole height is,

(13)/(30)

The rate of woman shadow and woman height (h) is,

(2)/(h)

The ratio is smae for woman and flagpole. So,

(13)/(30)=(2)/(h)

Solve for h.

\begin{gathered} (13)/(30)=(2)/(h) \\ h=(2\cdot30)/(13) \\ =(60)/(13) \\ =4.615\text{ feet} \\ \approx4.6\text{ feet} \end{gathered}

Answer: 4.6 feet
