The fromula find distance between two point is:

D=\sqrt[]{((x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_(1)^2))}

Apply the formula

\begin{gathered} x_2=7 \\ x_1=2 \\ y_2=4 \\ y_1=-5 \end{gathered}

Put the all value in distance formula:

\begin{gathered} D=\sqrt[]{((7-2)^2+(4-(-5))^2)_{}} \\ =\sqrt[]{25+81} \\ =\sqrt[]{106} \\ =10.29 \end{gathered}

so the distance between two point is:

10.29
