Homologous structures have the same physical features that share a common ancestor. Their features act on different functions. Analogous structures is present on features of different species with similar functions but not in structure. They did not came from a common ancestor.

and dolphins - analogous structures. They are not closely related. They have the same traits.

and platypuses - homologous structures. They developed their bill from a common ancestor.
5. the shells of turtles
and crabs - analogous structures. They are not closely related. They have different structures.
