1) Examining the graph, the value of the y-coordinate when x is 1 is:

0 since the curve intercepts the x-axis, as we can see there.

2) Proceeding with this time when the y-coordinate is 3 to find out the value of the x-coordinate:

x = 2

3) Hence, the answers are:

f(1) = 0

f(x) = 3 x =2
