The domain of a function are all the values of x for which the function exists. Since in this case, the function is a polynomial, the domain is all real numbers.

The range are all the values of y that the function takes. We can see that the lowest point of the graph is at y = -2 and from there it goes to positive infinty.

The range is:


Range:-2\leqslant y
