Resolve the parenthesis,


\begin{gathered} 4(y)-4(30)=4y+12 \\ 4y-120=4y+12 \end{gathered}

Transpose the terms,


\begin{gathered} 4y-4y=12+120 \\ 0=132 \end{gathered}

Observe that the variable 'y' gets eliminated, thereby leaving a false equality equation. As we know that 0 and 32 cannot be equal.
