We have to use the slope formula.

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

Let's replace the points (-5, 10) and (3, -4).

m=(-4-10)/(3-(-5))=(-14)/(3+5)=-(14)/(8)=-(7)/(4)_{}

Hence, the slope is -7/4.
