Find the sum of the interior angles of a regular octagon

we know that

the sum of the interior angles in any polygon is equal to

S=180(n-2)

where

n is the number of sides

In this problem

n=8

substitute

S=180(8-2)

S=180(6)=1,080 degrees

therefore

the answer is 1,080 degrees
