Part 2.

By replacing the numbers 8 and -5 into the place of x and ty, respectively, we have


-5=(1)/(4)8

which gives


-5=2

Similarly to the previous case, by replacing the numbers 0 and 3 into the place of x and y, respectively, we get


0+5(3)=-15

which gives 15 = -15, which is an absurd result. So, this point does not belong to the equation.

Part 4.

Again, by replacing the number 2 into the place of x, we have


2=2

since the equation is correct, then the point (2,3) belongs to the equation.
